By car, train or charter flight
If you are arriving by car, take German highways A23 or A7 to the port of Dagebüll. From there, the company W.D.R. operates large car ferries to the island of Föhr from early in the morning until evening at 75-minute intervals. By the way, if you would like to save a bit of money or simply have a car-free vacation, you can just leave your car in the large Dagebüll parking lot while on vacation. Dagebüll boasts a direct railway connection towards Niebüll and Hamburg with Norddeutsche Eisenbahngesellschaft trains and Deutsche Bahn through coaches. Using top-notch Intercity connections, you can easily travel from Berlin, Cologne and many other cities to Dagebüll in just a few hours time. Just look up which connection is best for you on the Deutsche Bahn website at www.bahn.de.
