Excursions to the neighbouring island of Amrum or the small Halligen islands are stunningly beautiful. A visit to the banks of seals is also an unforgettable experience. Another popular attraction consists of boat tours on which all sorts of sea creatures are caught in nets and placed in an on-board aquarium. After the passengers have had the opportunity to marvel at the marine animals, they are released back into their underwater habitat.
